Operating under the new name Sterplan, the company proudly builds upon the long-standing tradition and expertise of the Hydroprojekt and Sweco brands, while maintaining its core teams and values. With more than 150 experts across Prague, Brno, and Ostrava, they specialize in designing water management, energy, transport, and building projects. Their mission is to create functional "infrastructure for life" that enhances the vitality of cities and regions—always with a deep respect for tradition, an emphasis on quality, and a commitment to a responsible future.
For the new headquarters of this prominent engineering firm, we at cre8 designed an interior that reflects both their professional heritage and their modern vision. The workspace is anchored by top-tier ergonomics from Herman Miller—featuring breathable Verus Triflex chairs, the innovative stackable Fuld model, and the flexible Nevi Link desk system alongside Layout configurations. We seamlessly blended this technical precision with the playful Danish aesthetics of HAY, incorporating Passerelle and CPH 30 tables, the AAL (82, 87, 92) lounge chair family, and Revolver bar stools, complemented by stylish details like Kofi and Bella tables or the iconic Wall clock. The refined atmosphere is further enhanced by furniture from Enea (Mate, Lore, Kua) and design gems from Sancal (Rew) and Viccarbe (Quadra, Maarten). To ensure perfect quiet for focused tasks, the space is equipped with Framery One Compact and Four acoustic booths, while EchoBoard panels from EchoJazz add a layer of soft, acoustic comfort.
