The Re-norm table, designed by Maria Bruun for Muuto, redefines the way we meet, share, and connect, bringing a new sense of normalcy to everyday moments. Its sculptural form adapts naturally to different settings, offering both intimacy and openness.
The design of the Re-norm table is distinguished by its sail-like silhouette and sides of varying lengths, moving beyond rigid formats and inviting a more fluid and inclusive experience. Made from FSC™-certified wood, it celebrates honest materiality and features understated yet expressive details, challenging conventional table design while remaining warm and intuitively appealing.
The tabletop and legs are made of form-pressed birch plywood, finished with oak, walnut, or light blue painted ash veneer, treated with water-based lacquer and produced without intentionally added PFAS. The modularity of finishes allows the table to fit a variety of environments, from dining areas to meeting rooms, adapting flexibly to private and collective spaces.
Maria Bruun’s Copenhagen-based studio works across furniture, interiors, and exhibitions, focusing on material sensitivity and sculptural form. Trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, she combines respect for Danish design heritage with a contemporary voice, balancing poetic intent and everyday functionality.
