Basic information

Kantar

The goal of the C&W Design + Build architects was to create a unique office design for Kantar, according to the recommendations of conservationists to sensitively install it in a functionalist building from 1935, to let the historical legacy of the place sound and at the same time offer a modern interior to its employees and visitors. The architects were based on the company's visual identity in its contrasting colors - the entire interior blends white with contrasting dark walnut wood and gold details. The illustrated heads of the world's leading researchers, which intertwine across the interior, are intended to lead users to think and refer to the main activity of society - sociological research. The period painting is completed by rounded furniture, refurbished armchairs and luxfer partitions, which in the interior untraditionally serve, for example, to separate meeting rooms. A significant element in the interior are the corridors and corridor ceilings, which are reminiscent of the design of the historic corridors of the main building. By combining the historic exterior with the neo-functionalist style of the interior, the architects managed to preserve the genius loci of this unique building and create unique office space for a leading global research agency.
